Summer Concert Series

Tuesday night - Bob Dylan & Willie Nelson - Greer Stadium.
Completely awesome show. Best live sound I have heard in a long time, maybe ever. Willie sang everything I wanted to hear, and Dylan was - well, Dylan. Two of the most incredible songwriters in music.
Wednesday night - Robert Plant - Ryman Auditorium.
"Black Dog", "Whole Lotta Love", "When the Levee Break", "No Quarter", etc. etc. etc. I was like a 16 year old kid at my first rock show. Great band and Plant sounded phenomenal. Ryman ushers almost spoiled the show though by trying to get the crowd to stay in their seats like we were at church or something. The crowd eventually won out though, and sent the 90 year-old grandmothers they employ as ushers running for safety.
The talent level at these 2 shows was off the charts, especially compared to a majority of the acts out there today. Very inspiring...
