Man, time flies when you're having fun - or working like a mad-man... The Down Here record is mixed and out the door, heading to Gateway Mastering for the final touches. Today I'm finishing up some mixes for my friend Jordan Critz and Crosstimbers Church on an album he's put together for them that has some really nice stuff on it. Next week, more mixes for my Minnesota cronies and a Brazilian / Portuguese project after that. Then, I'll finish up with some mixing for Nathan Nockles before (hopefully) breaking for Spring Break...
Last Monday I went to the Daniel Lanois concert at the Belcourt theater in Nashville. Once again, it was amazing. This was my 3rd time to see him live, and every time is a unique experience and totally awesome. He was joined onstage by Emmylou Harris for a few numbers off of her Wrecking Ball album - that was the icing on the cake! Here's a shot from after the show:
