Websites and such
I'm amazed at how many artists I see (indies and artists on labels as well) who don't have a way to purchase their cd's on their websites! What is the deal??? I know one artist I did a record for who's on a pretty big label, and his website does not have a way to purchase the cd, and does not even have a link to iTunes or anywhere else to purchase it either! Not only that, but his label's distribution system is crap cuz I haven't been able to find his cd in Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or Barnes & Noble!!! Amazing to me.... It's certainly not easy to sell cd's in this market today, but c'mon, there's no need to make it even harder!

I'm liking the free iTunes cards at Starbucks, even though I never go to Starbucks (corporate evil - bad, bad) but I do have a connection there to get me the free iTunes downloads... I've discovered a couple of new cd's that will end up purchasing as a result --- very cool!

Just finished mixing a cd that Nate Sabin has produced for a duo fron San Diego called After The Chase. I'm working with Downhere later this week on a new radio single, and then mixing a project for my buddy Josh Motlong up in Kansas City later this month.

I still have one free week in oct. If you have some cool music, gimme a shout!
