Wrapping up Jason Gay's new record and it is turning out really well (I think...).
Matt Patrick has been down from Minneapolis working with me and he gave me a copy of his new solo cd that he did at his studio - it kills! He will proudly tell you he made it for $1,500 including duplication. Check out his website and buy a copy from him - he's moving to Slovakia for a year to start up a church - much respect for that!!!!
I have Tiger at 2:1 to win The Open - looking good so far, and Lance is still rockin' Le Tour de France - but the bookies don't want any action on him...

Spending the next several days mixing Jason Gay's project we tracked earlier this summer at The Bennett House, which has been sold and rumors have it closing down by the end of the year. One of the best tracking rooms ever with an unbelievable history - hopefully it will stay alive, but studios are dropping like flies around here. I'll be back at The Bennett House soon tracking more songs for Marie Miller who was here earlier this summer - she rocks!
I love watching the Tour de France - Lance Armstrong is kicking major butt as usual, and has probably already won the race. I love the way they interview Sheryl Crow all the time like she's some kind of cycling expert. Shut up and go sing some more duets with Kid Rock! And I wonder if Oprah's still there banging on the doors of Hermes trying to get in after closing time with her "entourage" - what's with these freaks???
