The new studio is up and running. I have someone helping me with some photos and hope to have them up in the next week or two.

Check out Sara Groves new record - It's really great.

I'm mixing Isa Couvertier's record this week and gearing up for a new Tommy Walker live record that my fellow Texan Chris Harris is bringing in to mix next week.

NFL referees are completely rigging the games this year, making up the rules as they go and where they see fit.

The Titans need a new defensive coordinator and need Steve McNair to retire.

Drew Bledsoe????

Harriet Miers???? (and what's with the black eyeliner?)

All for now,

Lanois Part deux
I am flying today, returning from Minneapolis where I spent a few awesome days hangin' with my buds up there, Nate Sabin, Joe Rogness, Josh Stigers, Jason Gay, and their beautiful families who graciously hosted me.

We saw Daniel Lanois last night at the Fine Line Cafe in downtown Minneapolis. What a show!!! The guy just blows me away everytime I see him. He remains in my mind, one of, if not the best musician on the planet. The band he had with him, Tortoise, was amazing as well. I was standing about 6 feet from the front of Laois' Vox AC30, so the whole night was a master class in guitar tones and vibe beyond belief!

I'll be mixing in my new studio for the next month on a variety of projects coming my way. I'm still waiting on some hardwood floors to go into my control room, then I can get the furniture more permanently placed and post some pics.

Soon,
