February diary
Always thankful for great projects rolling thru the door! Just finished mixing a cd for Glenn Lavender (downhere) and his side project called Hark The Herons. It was a lot of fun, and they did a really great job with this project.

Finished two weeks of tracking Andrew Peterson in Jan. at my favorite "home away from home" studio in Winthrop, WA. We had a blast. We set out to do 10 songs and finished with 13. Ben Shive was at the production helm, and Andy Gullahorn and Gabe Scott were also in on the fun. There was no laughter or clowning around at all...

Finished the week this week rocking out with Judson Spence, as well as mixing some great songs for Brandon Bee out of Seattle.

This week, my old buddy Nate Sabin returns, and I will be mixing a cd for an artist he produced named Jay Asplin. We tracked this project about 18 months ago, so it will be great to finally put it to bed. Jay is a great guy and I had a blast tracking his project up in Minneapolis. I remember the tracks be really fun, so I can't wait to pull them up again.

I have a few more things on the books that promise to be fun. We are riding out the winter with some snows that grind Nashville to halt, and some temps that have had fishing out of the question. I enjoy the cold winter weather, but I know by April/May I will be ready for fiahing season to fire up in earnest,

Visit again soon, or stop by the studio and bring some good music!
